LOL Cotto hasn't fought GGG and he's been the Mandatory for like 2 fights. You guys cry "155 is MW!" and "GGG is too small for Ward at 168 he's trying to unify 160!" If GGG is so small and Canelo is so much bigger why he can't he weigh in at 155? I genuinely want to know

It's simple. GG has forced the winners hand by becoming the mandatory. As mandatory he can weigh in at the limit of 160 as per the orgs rules.
If it was a voluntary then Canelo would have room to negotiate. As it stands GG will force the winner to fight at the limit or make the winner look like they're avoiding by relinquishing the belt.

I would've respected GGG's decision of staying at 160 to wait for Cotto Canelo winner IF and only IF there was any kind of guarantee that they were going to fight him after they fight each others, the winner will vacate the WBC paper title and will keep on fighting at 154 155, and that's the biggest problem.

Floyd was talking about Jeremy Lin being a prop up that , at the time , was being hyped due to his race so that the NBA could penetrate new Asian markets . Floyd was absolutely correct as I'm not even sure if Jeremy Lin is still in the NBA .

There's no guarantees in this sport, its one of the things that makes it so exciting. A fighter could have something picked up in a medical, a wife could demand they retire or lose their marriage.
Look at Douglas Tyson or the tragedy with Paul Williams. Ffs even valero. Nothings a given or predictable..apart from Berto & Floyd but even that had the smallest chance of an upset.
gg wants all the belts, once done he'll have no leeway from the fans & will move up & try to do the same

Boxing is a sport heavily influenced by economical and social situations. When people struggle or are in poverty or live in hard times, they are forced to work harder to make a better life for themself. They grow up tougher and harder. Look at depression era fighters.
