No, the only guys who really seem to have hands on experience are punch drunk 60 year olds who don't make any sense in written language. The rest are closet ****s and accountants.

Oh yeah I'm dying to get your approval on that one.
      Yes coming from me.

You probably got into boxing because of Khan too. Which is fine, but don't even deny it.

I'm starting to see what you mean. Haha.

        Why were you attacked?

You didn't strike out at him.

        A hostile environment indeed.

Isn't Kovalev using the shifting technique in your video there? I know some Russian fighters have been using it lately. Very effective.

Yeah, I like that gif because it shows how sneaky he is. Hopkins said Kovalev was a very predictable fighter before their fight and changed his tune afterwards. On the surface he looks like an off balance, 1-2 power puncher, but he has very tricky foot work. He shifts his stance half way through that sequence and what's expected to me a lame throwaway jab turns into a huge left hook.

I've been trying it in sparring and quite frankly I suck at it. It's hard as hell to replicate.

Because this exchange was all there is to it.

                Plus he wasn't "attacked".

I've learned that you come across a wide variety of individuals. The dynamics of this place is what makes it worthwhile. From the Lounge to the History Section.

Oh I have tried it and it is hard. A lot of guys recommend not using it and that it will get you hurt, but I think it works very well when you know what you're doing which it seems Kovalev definitely does. I like watching him a lot. Many people think he stands out because of his power but lots of guys have power. Like you say, the footwork makes all the difference. I think this is also true in the cases of GGG and Roman Gonzalez. Their positioning makes them dangerous.
