                            The offer was sent after GGG had signed to fight Lemieux and been confirmed by the WBC as mandatory for the winner of Cotto/Canelo in their next fight. It was obviously a PR stunt by Roc and Ward, not a serious offer.

                                    Exactly. Ward just used GGG to get some PR. There never was serious negotiations for that fight.
