Carl Froch has revealed he is training every day because he remains open to offers for a comeback.

The 38-year-old announced his retirement in July after 14 months out of the ring following his defeat of George Groves.

Since James DeGale has won the IBF super-middleweight title Froch once vacated, however, a potential spring fight with the Olympic gold medallist has become a temptation, but Froch is also adamant that next year is his deadline and that he has no intention of returning after 2016.

Ward is not a threat now he's signed a three fight deal at light heavy and Carl has always said he's not big enough to move up.....end of.
If Degale struggles in any way against Bute then I don't see any reason to buy the Froch fight and if Froch is missing the limelight then what about GGG ?

"I'm not an attention seeker ..." lol - get real. He is missing the limelight. At least admit it.

"If I was going to fight again, and it's a big if..."

STFU, last time you said the same BS and we all thought that you were going to fight, now all of sudden you are training and "feel" good. Nah I don't buy it

I respect Froch, but this kind of talk drives me nuts.

Froch is starting to piss me off now. Degale called him out after the Groves 2 fight. Either stay retired or get back n fight.

he's avoiding andre ward. been saying this for a while. i really don't blame him.

he's not going to win, and he's probably not goign to make as much money as he did against groves.

2 years ago he has the edge on DeGale and Golovkin but after the time off I wouldn't be so confident. Even at his best, Froch would've had problems with DeGale's speed/skill/movement, if he's lacking sharpness and timing then those problems last all night.

ward returns, within weeks froch retires.

ward injures his knee and pulls out of a fight.

froch is back within a week.

golovkin would beat froch up and end his career.
