I tune into all of his fights. I think some still have a sour taste after Pacquiao 1, but I don't think he is disliked. He is respected by most.

Maybe lack of power. I'm hyped up for the fight this weekend so he does have fans.

Lack of power. If Bradley had stayed winning he could do without it and people would show up.

Saying dumb **** like this at a press conference doesn't help him either.

Well I did read your entire post, and you pretty much listed the reasons. He's had close fights, one a gift against a beloved fighter, and he doesn't have power. Honestly though, I like Bradley, and I continue to get excited for his fights. But I think it boils down to power. If he was knocking people out, he'd be more popular. Plain and simple.

Lack of personality I would say is his main downfall.

I suppose his dull style and lack of power does play a part of course but others have been able to work with that. The obvious one being Mayweather.

The difference between someone like Mayweather is obviously the fact that Floyd is extremely good and talented unlike Bradley aswell as the fact Mayweather was brilliant with his ****ish "heel" tactics outisde the ring, the money, the cars, the women, the bragging and boasting, burning money aswell as his undefeated/unbeatable aura. Say what you want about Mayweather but the way he marketed himself was pure genius.

Another difference being Bradley isn't that good more than likely plays a part.

The Pacquiao fight was an absolute robbery but he beat JMM handily, he beat many guys at 140 handily, including Witter, who was quite popular in the UK (not on superstar level but still) and he tried his best to go to war with DA but "The Great" didn't want any.

Bit by bit, over the years ,especially since his time at WW, I've really grown into a Bradley fan. He is strong, determined, highly skilled and can be very clever in the ring. And in all honesty, the guy has had 2-3 PPVs, if I'm not mistaken, made millions and is still one of the better known guys out there. Obviously when comparing to the likes of Pac/May/Cotto/Canelo/Wlad/Khan, he isn't "popular" but outside Khan/Pac and possibly Brook, who else is better known at 140-147? I can't think of too many names.
