    Yea, there's a difference.

He was okay with fighting with the original opponent but when that changed, all of the sudden, his family became more important.

I'm not saying he shouldn't pull out of the fight for immediate family but that was his uncle and he had known about it for long before he pulled out.
And his uncle died shortly afterwards.

Wladimir pulled out apparently cos his bird's in a mood. Isn't that like a daily thing for most men?

While I agree, don't underestimate the late Sniper.

He was a southpaw, with deadly power.

He also rocked Vitaly in the first round.

I think that if Wladimer would have fought a rematch with Sanders directly after, there is a pretty good chance Sanders would have won.

Sanders was a bad matchup for him, and that was pre-Steward Wladimer.

Sanders was a brutal knockout artist.

This man just might have a fair point.

Wladimer had a sore calf, doe.

You can't ask a guy to fight when his kin is about to die.

Fury was probably not right mentally, and made what was likely the correct call to pull out of the fight.

Wlad's strained calf is better now, and we still get to see the fight in a few weeks, so let us rejoice on that.

I'm rooting for Fury, but his mouth isn't doing him any favors. Do everyone a favor, Fury.... concentrate on Wlad and STFU about your plans after the fight, as boxing fans are bored of every fighter talking retirement prematurely.

Fury is one lucky man - one good win through his whole career and he gets a title shot for millions.

I don't see Fury winning, but even if he loses i hope he sticks around and faces the likes of Wilder and Joshua.

Fury spouts a load of cryptic bollocks that contradicts what he previously said. This is news?

Don't take anything Fury says at face value. He's a mercurial fellow with a loose tongue and a roving mind, one day mellow and in fine fettle, the other in dark despair and of troublous temperament. He might retire after Wlad, he might not. Who knows? Not even Fury.
