Sugar Adam Ali is right, Pacquaio did want out of that Sanchez fight.

As for Morales and Marquez, yeah they did "outbrawl" Pacquaio AT TIMES, but it's their skills and counterpunching ability that won them those fights.

Floyd had nothing to do with my statement. And how are Manny's wins over Barrerra and Morales better than a win over Manny himself? If you use the "Manny was past his prime argument" then you have to hold Manny to the same standard because both Barrera and Morales were past their primes.

That was the perfect fight IMO.
QFT!!!!!That has always been my favorite of the series, and it actually taught me more about the technical aspects of boxing I didn't understand at that time. I was a big fan in the 90's up until around 2004ish and I didnt pay much attention to the sport again until 2007(Teen years)...So this fight played a big part in developing my understanding of what I'm watching instead of just spectating.

I used to play it in slo-mo all the time(before *******s made it a thing) and it was still a lot of stuff to process at a non-stop rate. I hadn't given it much thought but it probably is my favorite fight ever...Or at least one of them.

This reminds me I had planned to watch the 4 part series front to back. I left off on 1 and now it's time for fight 2.

The first 3 are available in fine quality here: http://www.hbo.com/boxing/fights/201...manuel-marquez

I'm sick of even reading the guys name. He gets brought up by some people in literally every single post they make...those freaks like Kuyukut, Spoon, ADP20 and those other freakin wackjobs will bring him up, and repeat their same psychological demented issues in posts about the history of Jack Dempsey, about the best cruiserweight of all time, about the greatest white, ***ish fighters and about British heavyweights.

"Jack Dempsey might have been a great heavyweight in the early 1900's, but facts are facts.
Roid Gayweather is a proven PED cheat, a coward and lost to one armed FOTD, filipino hero Manny Pacquiao. Coward Fraud Pedweather Jr 45-4
          "

He's retired now. We can all stop bringing him up in every thread I say.

Seriously! It makes it difficult to come here and just talk boxing. The man is retired and the same ones that "hate" him so much keeps him relevant on this board. The irony...

Pacquiao didn't beat Morales till he was past his best and coming off a one sided loss to z.raheem . Lol@that being better than any win on Floyd's resume.....most of #48's wins the are against past prime shot to **** fighters.

Morales boxed well and also initiated a lot of the toe-to-toe action, wisely picking his spots. Plus he landed some nice long rights early on that got Manny's attention. He followed the blueprint Marquez had laid out and combined it with his height, reach and boxing skill to control Pacquiao.

Morales was already past his prime in the first fight. A fairly big underdog going in and gave us one last hurrah. He looked washed up against Raheem, washed up and drained in the Pacquiao rematch and just plain finished in the completely unnecessary third bout.

Last thing I took out of that Sanchez fight was pacquiao wanting to quit. He was pissed and rightfully so with the low blows, headbutts, and headlocking.
