Morales knew how to stay in front of manny, manny didn't know how to handle that at at that time.

      But he sure learned quick.

It's crazy to think Pacquiaos first 3 opponents on HBO were Barerra, Marquez, and Morales. 3 hall of fame fighters. And manny was still developing at that time himself.

Another reminder of just how cowardly today's fighters are.

Erik Morales is the man, He destroyed Pretty Boy out in texas too, each team put up some money on it and they went heads up in the gym and Morales had PBF in worse shape he was after the Spadafora fight. LEAKING

        Morales is no joke

Morales was a BAD MAN! I'd say JMM was able to outbrawl Pac in many instances as well. That was really the only way you could beat him in his prime

I wouldn't really say Morales brawled him. Brought hell to him for sure though.

He definitely fought fire with fire, though. Calculated, sure. But that was more brawl than boxing lol

Pacs second fight with Marquez IMO was the most beautiful fight of this time period.

It was a brawl, but there was so much footwork, technique, speed, counter punching, at such a non-stop pace, that it didn't even feel like a brawl. That was easily one of the highest level boxing performances by 2 fighters I'll ever see.

That was the perfect fight IMO.
