Hell Floyd dropped from 154 in 2013 and still was Ring/Lineal champ till 2015 without ever fighting there again
IIRC Doug Fischer said the Ring would strip him. I'm sure ESPN would no longer have him #1, nor any other decent ranking. We should ask Cliff Rold.

There was nobody at SWW who was Floyd's mando, held 2 other belts and got Floyd to vacate. In fact he's still holding the ABC belts lol.

Pop quiz: Out of Ward, Cotto, Canelo and Golovkin, which ones have fought at catchweights?

If he fails to make 155, hopefully the belt goes to GGG after he beats Cotto

How would the Ring strip him? according to what rule?

as long as he is under 160 and the fight goes on the belt is still on the table for both

If Canelo wins and fails to make weight, that belt is vacant, right

You know people are consumed with hate when they start preemptively criticizing guys for something they haven't done yet and aren't likely to do.

According to him vacating his belt cause he's not a MW.

That is not a rule...lol wtf??? you can vacate a ABC belt all you want,as long as you still fight in the division you keep the Ring title and lineal title can not be lost until you lose or leave the division

so if he misses the CW vs cotto the belt won't be on the line? even if he is below the MW limit?
