If he wants to do whatever, he'll have to drop the belt and that's gonna hurt. He's already sensitive about it and feeling the heat, imagine how rough its gonna get.Comment

Who cares if he drops the WBC??? he would still be Ring/Lineal champion and the biggest name in the divisionComment

There's a chance if they forfeit the belt first. Then if they want 155-6, it'd likely happen. 157 for sure. But of course it's not the CW that's the sticking point, these guys are "not ready"Comment

I really hope you dont think the WBC will make Cotto or Canelo drop the belt over a catchweight...GGG is not the money man here....He will have to play ball just like Cotto was FORCED TO DO WITH MANNYComment
-
Pretty sure he wouldn't be recognized the the Champ by Ring, ESPN, TBRB, the scene or anyone else. Cause they're declaring they're not a MW and giving up the belt. How can you be lineal MW champ if you're not a MW nor champ? Same as retiring or moving down.Comment

dude, they would be recognized as long as they keep fighting over 154...giving up a ABC belt does not make you lose the Ring or Lineal title...where do you get this stuff from??
Hell Floyd dropped from 154 in 2013 and still was Ring/Lineal champ till 2015 without ever fighting there againComment

Its nothing like that, its not like Cotto was Pac's mando or anything. The WBC can't tell him, CW or you're not longer mando. It doesn't look like the WBO even wanted to strip him, they just said the title is in play whether he pays the sanctioning fees or not. He was threatening to vacate
