Did I miss something. Sanchez (******ly imo) said that GGG could beat anyone 154-168. I don't recall him saying that Ward would be the first he'd fight at 168. If you do then please provide a link.

Which Golovkin fans? I'm way more interested in what 1/ Golovkin says and 2/ his team says.

Golovkin was ready to fight both Chavez Jr and Froch at 168, with no prep fights at the weight class, yet the mention of Andre Ward manifests in dozens of conditions and excuses.

What an excellent assessment . Cotto and Canelo will likely vacate or **** GGG so bad at the the negotiation table with purse distribution and weight clauses that GGG/Team prolly won't even be interested .

Would hold out the caveat that I still believe that "Kid Chocolate" Peter Quillin gives Golovkin that work, but that K2 never puts Golovkin near that fight (Quillin is taller and longer than Golovkin, has actual one-punch power in both hands, can box from range and in close, and would likely walk into any proverbial fight near 180lbs; Quillin's mental fortitude, and how he reacts when the fight gets into the 8th/9th round and he starts to tire, will always be the X factor).

Still, it's odd that every notable fighter who has been a top amateur at 165, like Golovkin was, made the choice to go up in weight, rather than hide at 160.

Vs Andy Lee, Quillin looked tentative , scared to let his hands go and gave me the impression of a deer in headlights . Also looked real iffy against Rosado , once Rosado hit him clean . Had Rosado ever learned to close a fighter once he has them hurt he'd be a champion by now , and would have took Quillins belt that night . IMO nobody at 160 has anything for GGG at all , as ive maintained that once he beat Murray
