I really don't believe much in the concept of PPV fighters , rather I do believe in the concept of PPV MATCHUPS . Ward and GGG will prolly always do poorly individually , but against each other would pay handsomely .

He didn't fight and lose against a WBC champ - he fought against a version of Jack that was still at prospect level. He lost to a prospect who later became a champ - not the same thing unless you are saying that Jack never added anything between his tenth and his 21st fight.

I would of been ok with GGG facing Ward after unifying the division. Ward decided to move up and take that time off. Can't blame GGG. You Ward fans expect everyone to bow down to his wishes.

That "offer" was for a fight sometime next year/18 months when Ward was finished with his tune ups.
The damning part of that "deal" for Ward was asking them to go ahead and sign for the 50/50 split right now lol.

Why wouldn't fans want him to fight Kovalev? Makes much more sense than fighting Golovkin.
