I believe that is exactly what should happen, they can go fight on the Tijuana fight channel but HBO & Showtime should ban these divas when they act like that.Comment

If u go and check my posts, you'll see that I stated a fight between GGG and Floyd is unrealistic as someone will have to sacrifice too much of a weight disadvantage and the winner will never receive full credit. If it were to happen I'd definitely tune in but it just seemed a bit unrealistic.Comment

I don't doubt they give up the title, but it doesn't help Golovkin. He doesn't need a belt handed to him as much as he needs a big win againt a big name, big money fighter. GGG might have a strong following in the boxing world but as his ppv numbers show, he's not yet a household name, a win over Canelo or Cotto would make him one.Last edited by AllEyesOpen; 10-28-2015, 08:10 AM.Comment

Another source also mentions Canelo vs Rios/Bradley winner as a possibility:
"Arum wants either Rios or Bradley to face Canelo next if he gets past WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto in their fight next month on November 21st."
"According to Arum, De La Hoya loves the idea."

Bradley is even smaller than Cotto... But, well, nevermind...
Canelo: I'm not ready for GGG unless it's at 155, now I'm off to fight 1 of 2 small ww.Comment

Everyone will take a hit of neither of those fights happen. The winner of Cotto/Canelo will take a big reputation hit and wont be able to cross the street without being questioned about GGG, while GGG will take a short term marketability hit without the exposure of a fight/win over Cotto or Canelo.Comment
