canelo's 170 is NOT the same as golovkin's 170, period. 155 is a reasonable catchweight. why should canelo make the SACRIFICE of fighting at 160 (where he's never been) when it's always the B SIDE that must sacrifice something in order to get a career defining opportunity. you can't ban catchweights now just because your favorite fighter doesn't wanna stay in his B SIDE lane. golovkin has been making 160 since amateurs, he would have the edge if canelo moves up. the A SIDE doesn't give the edge. people think this sht is new to boxing, even Sugar Ray Leonard used catchweights to get advantages. and if it must happen at 160 then its more than fair to let canelo get a few fights in at that weight before facing golovkin. nothing cowardly about it, boxing is a business, canelo is the only one bringing fans and money to the table, if you don't factor that in then you're an idiot.
