Exactly, in chronological order its more like this:
1.GGG - I want to unify middleweight
2. GGG - no middleweight champs will fight me, so I'll take big fight at 168
3a. Chavez - No thanks
3b. Froch - No thanks
3c. Ward - im injured / im in court with Goosen
4. GGG - I'll just stay busy until I can unify
5. (Ward signs with Roc, Dave Iskowitz says he needs "a few tuneups, fights a slob on BET in tuneup#1)
6. WBC - You are mando to Cotto-Canelo
7. Lemieux - Im IBF champ, lets unify
8. Ward - hey even though you just signed unification and are mando to cotto-canelo winner, lets agree right now to 50-50 split (even though I cant sell 10 tickets) and fight maybe sometime late next year
9. GGG - Im busy fool
10. GGG hate trolls - "but but but abel said doe", or "but but lara doe", or "but but but 164 doe"Comment

“Gennady’s performance in the ring and the response from fans across the globe continues to define him as one of the best and most marketable fighters in boxing,” said Tom Loeffler, Managing Director of of K2 Promotions. “He clearly rose to the occasion on the sports’ biggest stage in his finest performance against another champion.”
"Among the countries reporting top ratings for the Middleweight World Championship Title Unification are Mexico, Germany, Poland, Kazakhstan, Korea, Japan, and the United Kingdom. The international sporting event was telecast in over 120 countries from “The World’s Most Famous Arena.” Tom Loeffler
If GGG can become the only unified, undisputed champ in modern boxing he will be on his way to becoming the biggest name in the sport, worldwide, now that Floyd and Manny are on their way out.
Wlad became one of the best known and highest earning boxers in the world without any HBO PPV audience at all. No reason why Golovkin can't do the same.
By the time Canelo is ready for him, if he ever is, GGG will be the A side and Canelo will have to bend over for him.Comment

I have not denied that EVER, i use the same arguments that you guys used against Floyd, why did you guys believe that crap when it was floyd but now are all for it? Its about the hypocrisy that so called "boxing fans" use against certain boxers but disregard the same arguments when it comes to others....so he will continually get trashed, like the argument against PBC (they are mismatches) but everyone of lil g's matches are mismatches....see the hypocrisy and how it takes away from the sport of boxing...I hope he never becomes a star and just fades away + he only has a few years left, he's like 33, he'll become a faint memory soon, remember that guy that used to fight tomato cans...Comment

150k on HBO PPV, plus millions more worldwide. The HBO figure is just the US audience, remember.

dude, he fights cans, and when you have to quote a promoter, you've already lost. Canelo has sold MILLIONS, lil g hasnt sold 100k, i guess you dont know how negotiations work. In about 3 years he'll be about 37 and on his way out with NO significant matches, because he's scared of Ward. You cant compare Wlad to this guy, Wlad has had big fights and been a champ for a long time, lil g doesnt have time on his side, no one will remember or give a damn about him in 5 years time...when they start trying to name the fighter of the decade in 5 years, he'll be another also ran, sad but trueComment

If GGG's fights are mismatches it's for the same reason Floyd's were - he is just much better than his opponents.
The truth is that for some reason you and others can't handle that.Comment

Dont act like I dont remember your anti floyd rants, and it was never because you thought he was that much better than his opponents..It was because "he paid off the refs, judges, commentators and bought the ppvs himself, lol oh yeah...because everyone wanted to see him lose. lol. turn-about is fair playComment

Why not for Golovkin?
Forget it, you already answered that question.
And no reason for me to even bother thinking about the other "points" you raise. I know where you are coming from there too.
Happy trolling mate.Comment

Whatever the scenario after November 21, it won't include Cotto, because Canelo is going to starch his ass. If Canelo wants to further his career & aspires to be the next great Mexican champion, he will face Golovkin like a man. CWs won't apply, as it's a mandatory. Saul walks around @ 170+ anyway; weight shouldn't be an issue.Comment

Neither fighter will be ashamed with that bank account. Real boxing fans, outsisde the 97k, know these guys are too small for Golovkin. Lean muscle is better than water weight. So I don't buy that Canelo and Golovkin are the same size. Like WW version of Clottey weighing 170lbs vs Pacquiao does not mean he is the same size as MW Golovkin weighin 170lbs.Comment
