You know NOW what Froch did to Bute.
After the Super 6 when Ward should've fought Bute to completely clean out his division(like he said he would), he chose to fight the LHW champ at SMW. lol
**** sake this place is crazy
The Dawson fight was a bigger fight. Dawson himself said after the bhop fight that he'll go down to 168 and whoop ward.

Ward is trying to tale easiest opponents
And gain the least amount of damage
      From any real light heavyweights
      Until kovalev.

This is weak. He isnt a top p4p fighter.
It will be brand and then it will be agnew .
Then it will be kovalev. By then agnew will have 3 straight losses.

      Ward looks soft

I just hope Miura vs. Vargas is the Co-main Event. That's a great fight that more people deserve to see.

Miura vs. Vargas for Co-Main Event!
Ward could be the second bout.

Ward had only 1 fight during a 3 yr period. Bf that, I thought he was best lb 4 lb fighter on the planet. Better than Floyd even. The fighter that won super 6 will outbox Kovalev imo, but looking forward to seeing it.

Ward really halted any momentum he had from super with promotional issues, but not too late. He's still in his prime. Too bad he can't fight Stevenson after Kovalev bc Haymon won't work with Rock Nation. Ward would beat Stevenson easily

Exactly! That wasn't a negotiation. Dawson wanted it at 168. That was a big fight at the time. People see it differently bc Dawson has fallen off alot. But Dawson was viewed as a lot.more dangerous fight at 168 than Bute.
Just like those who now say pac over de la hoya was easy for Pac bc de la hoya was weight drained, people forget oscar was a 2-1 favorite.
Same here ward was not a big favorite in that fight

While Dawson was the one who offered to goto 168, it doesn't change the fact that he WAS drained. He's at fault for offering, but Ward should not get anywhere close to full credit for that fight.

Also, Ward was a 4-1 favorite over Dawson.

                they just keep getting upset...

but completely forget Ward has now fought in two divisions. 160 & 168 and now he's going into his third 175 lbs. Of course he campaigned at 160 for a short time, either way he fought there and then moved up.

I'm fine with him taking a tune-up if it leads to a not too distant fight against Kovalev.

But, don't understand why he is dragging a 168'er up. Pick a LHW fringe contender

i've come to the conclusion that i dont care who ward fights in those first two fights, if he ends it against kovalev and wins hes officially the P4P king. kovalev is the most feared fighter right now, unlike golovkin who has numerous guys calling him out and he just bi*ches out and cries about not having opponents.
