If he picked Agnew people would still ***** and moan. Dude is ranked #46 at LHW. The contract will conclude with Andre Ward defeating Kovalev next fall. Can't wait to hear the excuses.

        Embarrassing pretender.

Brand is almost 39 and whats his best win?

I dont know any of these guys he won against, almost all of his fights were in Columbia against d e class part time boxers.
Ward is everything they been accusing GGG of doing, and they still have the gull to open their hypocritical traps about GGG.

Ward picks a quite litteral bad, old, SMW, drags his ass up to LHW, to face him.

And if that insult wasn't enough, dude gets what, three weeks to get ready. 3 weeks to train for Ward. WTF!

What if dude lands a KO punch, Jesus how pathetic would that look.

This is the guy who was said to be serious about fighting GGG.

If Wards tuning up for LHW, fight a LHW. Man, how does HBO commentary not spend the entire fight clowning him?

It's stunning how they suddenly forget all the criticism they levy at GGG. Wow!

***** and moan! Lol! Dude is pulling SMW up to LHW to bash them left and right. This one is bad. He's 38, has only 3 weeks to get ready.

If this is where he is at in preparation for Kovalev, he better rethink that time line.

Kovalev's tune up is gonna be a top LHW.

          Wards going for bad SMW.

Team Kovalev have to be sitting back thinking, WTF, this guy us a clown.

You don't take a tuneup against a top fighter. That defeats the purpose of calling it a tuneup.

How is Kovalev taking a tuneup when he's an active fighter? In any case, his next opponent is a guy that he knocked out 2 fights ago lol. There's nothing to do at LHW, and fighting a guy that you dominated less than a year ago shows that.

Kovalev also isn't talking trash to make himself feel safe. He knows Ward is the real deal, and will prepare properly for him, not that it will matter.

Ward's 3 fight deal is contingent on Ward facing Kovalev at the end of it. I hope there's no excuses when Ward wins

So we're gonna act like Ward didn't sit out 20 months due to contractual issues?

And Ward last fought 11-16-2013, against #6 SMW Edwin Rodriguez. After a 20 month layoff, he took a tuneup against Paul Smith, not 3. Don't tell outright lies when the truth only takes 30 seconds to Google dude.

Of the choices available this seemed like the pick to make, but once again the bottom line with a Andre Ward fight is no one really gives a f#ck. Big fan of his boxing talent, but come the f#ck on with these silly who gives a f#ck fights. Although I guess more power to anyone who can hustle HBO to show your bs fights doe.

I'm kinda getting the feeling we won't really see Ward vs anyone fans give a f#ck about til he fights Kovalev late next year, which appears to be what HBO wants & is leaning towards right now from most accounts.

It's laughable. That's all you can do, is laugh. You can't reason with these people. There is some kind of misfire in their brains.
