These unknown punchers with resumes full of journeymen are the most dangerous. I've learned that over the years. Ward better come with his A game or else he will get Ortiz'ed or Khan'ed or be given a tough fight like Judah/Cotto vs Matthysse/Torres. It also appears he started boxing late, so Team Ward should not put much into his age.
    lol,tell that to lemiuxe

South American fighters are like the Russians of Latinos. Definitely nothing like Canadian boxers, no disrespect. Over the years I think these guys from SA have upset more fighters than any other continent. Any fighter would be a fool to sleep on them.

Also guys like Lemiuex and Bute had immense hype and fan support, these guys from Colombia and Argentina have no hype whatsoever, no support(until they upset someone), never favored, and they are pretty much unknown. Lemiuex was known, and he was known to already been stopped and decisioned and he still got hype. That is a completely different story. We know nothing about these guys, they've never been stopped, we don't know their weaknesses, etc. with Lem and Bute they were just overhype and known to be average at best.

Either fight was ****. It's just a showcase for Ward. He needs to perform with that many eyes on him.

A 38 year old SMW (The Mighty have Fallen)

Wait, so real men drag 38 year ok'd bad SMW up to LHW so he can pound on them. Who has ****ing less than half a camp to get ready. WTF is wrong with this guy.

LOL! How the mighty have fallen!

Wards entire career is in the dumps, and his apologist have the gull to talk **** about GGG.

Ward wants to fool fans into thinking he is like GGG. He may as well be fighting a punching bag.

This is nothing short of full blown pathetic. If GGG was dragging a 38 year old bad JR.MW up to him to pound on them, you'd call him every damn name in the book.

Hell, you guys don't give him credit when he is ripping through top ten, top five fighters in his own division.

You say he is picking on smaller guys, although Cotto is, he chose MW, and Canelo isn't, but then turn around and say he ducked Lara.

Ward fans talk a lot of crap, but dudes pathetic.

Wards gonna use this PPV to fight this guy

Meh. It's more important to fight on the PPV than hold out for someone better. Ward has to fight someone relevant next, though. He wanted 2 tuneups, and this is number 2.

Ward could have gotten a worse opponent. Brand has never fought above 168lbs before, but Ward only has once. Plus Brand's lost to Badou Jack was close on all 3 judges cards.

So Agnew was too dangerous? Ward actually demands a 40 year old columbian plumber from a lower weightclass?

                      Embarrassing pretender.

Brand is almost 39 and whats his best win?

I dont know any of these guys he won against, almost all of his fights were in Columbia against d e class part time boxers.
