Marvelous Marvin Hagler is IMO the best middleweight of all-time with Hopkins very very close behind. So IMO Hagler would have no problem beating GGG.

But GGG is still in the midst of his middleweight reign so he can move up higher on the ladder and maybe he will end up higher than Hagler.

Right now though Hagler is better and GGG.

Love how LEnnox tries to support the fighters from his generation.

Golovkin would have wasted Hagler beyond any doubt.
You're doing GGG a disservice with your silly remark. Hagler wasn't invincible but no one would have been able to "waste" him, not even GGG.

based on what your black face and lewis's
Hard for you to hide your biases even in a respectable conversation.......sad

While Golovkin needs to step up in order for me to know how truly good he is, I've seen enough of him to know that Hagler's jab is superior and Hagler's inside game would have been too much for Golovkin. The funniest part about this fantasy fight is that, this will actually be the first time Golovkin is in a fight.

I have yet to c a mw as strong as ggg, I'm not sure who to pik in this matchup. They have granite chin, both warriors. I think ggg has more power, better footwork n stronger between the two. Hagler mite have the edge in inside fighting. I think it depends on who can impose their game

I am not always right according to my brothers. BoxRec.com was my source. but here is more laughs Vito was supposed to be easy for haggler and he lost. they made fun out of him but Vito said ...I see dog in hagler in the late rounds and Vito won the late rounds

I will repeat it again. spinks begged hagler to fight him there was nothing in LH then. and that is why he moved up to HW. hagler said no and rather fight lightweights and WW's. I bet you were not even born when it happened cause you young guys are know it alls. to do what Duran did by fighting haggler and then Iran into a right Barkley hagler would had to fight at cruiserweight

Can you list the lightweights, welterweights, junior middleweights, that Hagler fought? That would mean 135,147, 154. Thanks in advance.

The fact that you refer to this ATG and Legend as "stragler", says a lot about you. Grow up. Hagler WAS a career Middleweight, PERIOD. Just because he didn't jump up to Lightheavy doesn't mean ANYTHING! Spinks was desperate for an opponent, not Hagler. Why would he make that move? To prove what? Exactly. Use your brain before you spew out nonsense, man. It's the same for those who say that SRL ducked Pryor. What was Ray afraid of? he said that Pryor was too little. He also said that Chavez Sr. was too little after he KO'ed Lelonde. Was he wrong? He would've KO'ed them both. So, how was he ducking? Because he didn't fight them? Smarten up man.

As long as he dont try to brawl with GGG he should be good....But really we need to see GGG vs better opponents before we compare him to ATG's.
