Based on what we've seen so far, no doubt about that. It would be tough, but Hagler would end up putting a beating on Golovkin. He's too versatile and tough.

Tell me, then: who compared GGG to Hagler or Hopkins in the first place? Who said that Golovkin would have beaten Hagler or Hopkins in the first place? Abel, GGG himself or who?

I've been seeing lot of comparing....mostly from another thread recently....and then there is the what if scenario which I cant fathom till GGG reaches that level if he reaches that level.

Would be a hell of a fight no doubt. From what we've seen prime Hagler would win a close decision. GGG is too open, Hagler would touch him plenty.

In the third, when Hagler knocked down Roldan, Roldan needed the ropes to stay inside the ring. In the tenth, Hagler knocks down Roldan again, and Roldan tells the ref, Tony Perez, that he quit. Fight over. And as swollen and smashed up as Roldan's face was, he made the right decision. Yes, Roldan fought throughout the fight, but Hagler did too, was throwing the harder punches, and clearly, Roldan was taking a beating.
haggler thumbed roldan cause he would have been KO'd. vito anterfermo beat hagler first time in the rematch hagler being scared he would lose again butted vitos face to shreds and fight was called for cuts. HAGLER NEVER MOVED UP IN WEGHT

                    Was he talking about this?

“I am here, Marvin,” Spinks taunted. “The Spinx Jinx is ready for you. Are you awesome, Marvin? Well so am I. Come to me.”

Why would he. Hagler was a career mw..
