Fight over. And as swollen and smashed up as Roldan's face was, he made the right decision. Yes, Roldan fought throughout the fight, but Hagler did too, was throwing the harder punches, and clearly, Roldan was taking a beating.

Absolutely right. Marvin trounced him and roldan was a very awkward and difficult fighter and brutal one punch knockout artist. And by the way all those victories were when marvin was past his best but he was still crushing these killers past his prime.

Those were his big money fights boxing novice. Hagler was on his way out and was focused on getting big money fights. He had faced and crushed all the dangerous fighters in his division. Many who would have been long reigning champions today. He destroyed mugabi when he was past his best.Marvin was never interested in moving up so the spinks question is a non issue.

Marvin was complete fighter he could do everything. Ray fought a past his prime marvin and still didnt win. You need to ask leonard why he avoided marvin like the ebola virus in his prime. You dont have to ask him, I will tell you, because he felt he couldn't win. Marvin had no timing, legs or reflexes in the fight with leonard he was a shell of himself. Not to mention the bigger ring, bigger gloves and shorter distance all were to leonards advantage.

But leonard still lost. The mugabi fight and previous wars took a lot out of marvin. Leonard wouldn't have last the distance with a prime marvin hagler. Watch past fights of marvin where leonard was announcing and just listen to the respect and praise leonard had for marvins skill, versatility and toughness.

Leonard said he chose to fight marvin because he saw slippage when marvin fought mugabi. If it hadn't been for that he would have never faced marvin.Leonard didnt win that fight it was too close to give to the challenger you have to knock the champion out to beat him. Marvin had leonard about to go had the fight been scheduled for 15 leonard wouldn't have made it to the final bell.

Marvin Hagler would have chewed golovkin up and spit him out. I have no doubt golovkin takes a brutal beating and is knocked out in crushing, spectacular, dramatic fashion. Just like all the rest.

Lennox has to immediately "Confess his sins" and ask GOD for forgiveness by putting Hagler and GGG on the same sentence. That should the first middleweight division commandment..... "Thou shall not put ATG fighters with GGG on the same sentence" .....What in the world??

Hagler would have defeated every MW champion that came after him. Most by KO. Golovkin would be one of the few who could make a fight of it. Which says a lot.

Um...would Hagler beat Ward at 168?

Hagler already had two losses in less than 10 years as pro.
