  • I don't think 3G haters want to see it. Nowadays, fans are different. They get high just by being able to say he ducking doe. In this case, they are even aware there would be problems like HBO/SHO/Haymon that would block this fight from happening.

3G fans would definitely love to see this fight.

      Golovkin: I'll fight anyone at 154, 160, 168
      3/17/2012
Hate? lol. Journalists usually cover the truth out of challenge, not because their degrees are inspired because of hate...

You can strawman it all you want. The fact that you even contextualized the point, a boxer and trainer, stating they can fight at those weights.. utter clownage!

Look at the last sentence of what you quoted! ''anyone AT'' 154 or 168. Do you know what ''AT'' means? That's even different than wanting to fight a fighter who's 154 or 168. You're quoting Golovkin stating that he can fight ''AT.''

      Easy work.

When Gennady wins it'll be "oh! Gennady fought a JMW!! He a bum!!"

So how is he ducking Lara, because when he does beat him he will get no credit on here. So how does this work
I'm not interested in seeing that fight. Why would I want to see Lara run around the ring like a scared girl. If Lara was running around the ring scared to engage vs Canelo just imagine how he would be for GGG. GGG wouldn't knock him out because Lara would be running to much.

          • Lara lost to Canelo in my opinion. GGG made it crystal clear his goal is to get all the middleweight belts and Lara doesn't help him with that. He would knock Lara out as easily as he knocks everybody else out but why should he bother? Lara has turned into a shot picker and he hasn't fought anybody very good since losing to Canelo. If Lara really wants to fight GGG then he needs to beat good middleweights and earn a middleweight ranking. Lara is wasting his prime beating average fighters when he could be trying to unify 154. I think Lara is a very talented boxer but he is doing nothing special with that talent. As good as Lara is he is still no match for GGG. He ran from Canelo so he would run even more from GGG. GGG would catch him and knock him out.

If you nearly get KOed by Angulo Imagine what David Lemieux would have done to Lara, scary thought that even scarier thought would be how badly would GGG hurt Lara.

              • Lara would be the best opponent Golovkin has fought. I want to see Golovkin fight guys who are better than anyone else he has fought.

I think Lara lost as well but it was a close fight, he didn't do enough to take the rounds in the manner he was fighting.

Lara is definitely a rare talent with the boxing IQ he has but he isn't anywhere close as good as GGG is that's just the truth, he'd get tee'd off on and as soon as that happens Lara goes in a shell and the referee either steps in and saves him or he gets chin checked so hard he doesn't get up from it.

i know many who dont think he lost to Canelo including HBO. He is willing to move up to 160 so i dont see why so many GGG fans are afraid of the fight. Yes i said afraid cause i hear "GGG will Ko him easily" so why bother. Bother cause he will be the best fighter GGG has faced....easily and after the PPV debacle they need a name like Lara.
