If Lara is a bum, then what does that make the rest of Golovkin's resume?

I want to see it because Lara would be the best opponent GGG has shared the ring with by far and it would present a different style for GGG to deal with.

I think Golovkin would win and it would be his best win.

If it will silence the nonstop unwarranted criticism of Golovkin by Dirk Diggler, for that reason alone I want to see it.

Cuba and Eastern Europe are the most dominant amateur boxing programs in the world. Seeing the best of what both of these boxing schools have to offer go head to head for the middleweight championship should be a boxing fan's dream.

That's the problem. If Golovkin can't get Canelo/Cotto or Lee/Saunders next they should definitely pursue this. Lara fought a dead even fight with Canelo so we can all stop pretending that he's not on the same level as Canelo and Cotto.
