Anybody else notice how Floyd vs. Pac has turned into Ward vs. GGG?

Not even close to the same thing.

    1. Ward doesn't really have a real fanbase. People see him as the benchmark to see if GGG is the real deal.

    2. Pac fans actually believed that Pac could beat Floyd while GGG fans are in fear of Andre Ward and want no parts of that fight.

    3. Pac and Floyd are worldwide superstars while GGG and Ward are just known by boxing geeks.

    4. Pac and Floyd fought the best while Ward and GGG are being carefully maneuvered.

I could go on all day.

So "Pactards" were forced into being supporters of a Kazakhstani boxer? I fail to see the correlation between the two.

It seems more likely that those in support of a certain African American, defensively minded boxer would need to turn to another African American defensively minded boxer once the aforementioned boxer retired from the sport.

Maybe not, but it seems much more plausible than correlating a Filipino boxer to a Kazakhstani boxer.

Funny part was these GG haters turned Ward fans always blame GG and they have nothing on Ward, who has become an embarrassment to the sport by becoming a tune up fighter. How is that fair?

In reality, Ward can end these debates by simply saying he want no part of GG and Kovalev. Instead he kept pretending he has interest in fighting both. I mean this is the guy who said he'll be future heavyweight champion.

Only Ward and GGG are separated by 2 weight classes.

I think this might be my alt account cuz I say this at least once a day, in a less aggressive way.

More boxing fans are just whiny *****es more than any time while I've been a boxing fan I know that. I'm sure there are some cats who just come here to **** on every boxer & aren't even a fan or fanboy of any one cat. Thats how ****ty a bigger than I'd like to see segment of the boxing community is.

And it's not even debating how their styles would mesh or anything like that, it's all about how much of a draw someone is, how many tune-ups they deserve or what catchweight there should be. Someone on here came up with the term 'fanager' before, and that's what it reminds me of.

If a thread starts with a discussion on Cotto vs Canelo, it quickly becomes about whether one or both are/will duck Golovkin. Then about whether Golovkin is ducking Ward, then onto if Ward is ducking Kovalev/taking too many easy warm-ups.
                  Very true, good post.

Makes you realize how ****ing gay boxing fans are nowadays.

According to boxing prophets like Dontae, it's Jim Lampley and white power HBO that hypes up guys like Pac and GGG.

Only Ward can end this thing by telling the truth. It's so simple. He'd rather pretend and blow smoke.
