Man, I was ready to jump all aboard the Kell Brook Express after Porter....

But he has fought no one since. He is British, he really cant entice any decent comp? When Chaves is the big one you know you are not aiming big

I just realized he is 29!!

What gives UK experts? Why is he fighting Jo Jo Dan? Where are the big fights?

I'm remembering now how the past couple years Kell Brook walked through the top 10 in his division and people started desperately urging him to fight 160 pound champions to cement his ATG status.

Wait that never happened. He fought Jojodan and sent Khan angry postcards.

Gennady Golovkin won a vacant interim title and has defended it against absolute no hopers for over 5 years. Lets look at his first few defences.

                Nilson Julio Tapia
                Kassim Ouma (ancient 154lber)
                Lajuan Simon
                Makoto Fuchigami

A relative who's who of killers.

Brook is the "problem with boxing these days" as you put it. Grab a disregarded alphabet belt, sit around or fight nobodies while demanding fights you haven't realistically earned until you're about to be stripped.

It's the new thing. They bypass the "meat" of a boxer's career (working their way to the top of the division) entirely. Thurman is working his way up the old fashioned way, why can't Brook?

Khan has 10x the career Brook does but he doesn't have that sought after "0" because he actually faced tough competition instead of sitting around for 30 years.
How slowly Brook built up his career and Khan ducking him have nothing to do with eachother. The fact is Brook is now a world champion and rated higher than Khan at 147 by everyone. So why not fight him for a massive payday, belt and bragging rights? It would also be the best win in his career.

As for what he's done since getting the belt, Dan was a mandatory and Gavin was a stay busy fight as there were no better options available at the time. Chaves is a solid top 10 guy and as good as if not better than anyone Khan has fought at 147. I'd like him to fight somebody better but again, who's available in the top 10?

You don't have to 'earn' a shot at Khan, who the **** is Khan? He's just another talented fighter in a division of talented fighters, it's not like he's superstar who's separated himself from the others.

It's mind boggling how anyone can defend Khan's actions, have some shame. I'm a Khan guy and would be supporting him against Brook but he's been acting like a mongrel of late and embarrassing himself and his fans.

No I wouldn't, every top level fighter thinks they're the best. I'm a big Khan fan...

Fight someone with a pulse and stay busy.
