Outside of Khan all top WWs are Americans, doubt they'll travel. The whole making Brook a big star campaign didn't work too well given he couldn't headline his best fight as a World Champion on ppv on his own. That's 10 plus fights and half a decade of Eddie vigorously investing in him. Not that it takes away from the fact he is a very good fighter.

    Big fight at WW=Travel.
Which WW fight incl. Kell Brook would be bigger in the states than in the UK? I'd like to know that. Of course, excl. Pacquiao.

Brook did headline a show on PPV and will probably headline twice next year on PPV.

He's becoming a household name, slowly but surely.

Yes, and you do remember how stacked that card was right?

But did he headline or not?

Khan headlined a great deal of fights on PPV back when he was still interesting to the british public. All of them failed miserably. One of the reasons were his undercards were usually non-existent and then it was Khan vs [insert mis-match]. This is why Sky closed the show on him and guys like Haye, and then he was left fleeing to Primetime TV where he equally failed.

Now, why in the world would Sky make the same damn mistake twice? Except if there's a huge fight, they'd always stack the undercard. Hell, even with fights like Froch vs Groves or Klitschko vs Fury, there were still a plethora of big names on the show to support it.

Because it makes sense. I guess you remember, and was probably pissed you didn't have to pay for it, when Sky dropped Khan-McCloskey from PPV to SkySports 3 because there was no undercard and the interest in Khan was totally fading.

If Brook was facing Gavin (similar level to McCloskey) then Sky would obviously not have done it on PPV, just like they did with Khan.

Well then the onus is on Al Haymon or whoever to make Kell a big offer to fight one of his guys. Has that happened?

Brook was never meant to headline that PPV so I don't see how it "hasn't worked". More "Khantardjecture".

Diego Chaves isn't a big name. He'd likely have headlined with Rios and will certainly headline a PPV if they get Bradley over.

How is this "smack"? Every boxer should believe they're the best.

How is Garcia irrelevant at 147?

Maidana hasn't fought in over a year and been piling on the pounds. I'd call that making yourself irrelevant.

Brook has as much or more stack behind that statement than any other welterweight - at least not named Pacquiao, if he's still active.

Bradley could be one too. Those two need to fight each other to see who the best is.

Below that are Thurman and Porter, then the likes of Danny Garcia and then somewhere around the bottom
                    Is Amir Khan.
