He wont fight Pascal next up because he signed to Kovalev.
After that fight, Pascal/Ward may not seem that appealing.
A live one would be nice, or two..... and he would be wise to get in at least one tough fight at 175 before Kovalev, 2 would be better but thats unlikely now considering how late it is...... but as long as Ward/Kovalev happens next year idgaf.Comment

A joke organization? Would you prefer the WBA with their regular, interim, and super champions? Or the WBC who never met a Mexican that they didn't think deserved a title shot?
They are ALL joke organizations.
But as long as they run the boxing world then the most you can hope for is that fighters with high rankings get picked for important fight dates. Andre Ward was trying to do exactly that.
I fail to see why the NSAC chose to draw a line with him while they let others get away with mismatches.Comment

Ward/Murdock was no different than Garcia/Salka and Quillen/Zerafa the stripper.
I just dont understand how you have a 3-fight deal with HBO with Kovalev being your 3rd fight and feel that fighting such a low caliber opponent in a weight class beneath you will get you ready for such a fight.
I truly dont think Andre's heart is in boxing anymore and just wants a few easy paydays before calling it a career. Rocnation better find out where his head is at.Comment

as for ward's tune-up on the cotto ppv, brand and augustama are the names floating around so farComment

it has to be gonzalez. kovalev's 2016 is already determined: pascal ii, barrera/mikhalkin and ward. stevenson, beterbiev, fonfara and alvarez are on pbc and off-limits. braehmer will probably get oosthuizen and cleverly. arum probably doesn't throw monaghan to the wolves just yet. boesel and skogland won't travel (nor will ward, of course). so, if ward is going to fight a real contender in preparation for the kovalev fight, that just leaves gonzalez

I can't wait to see who Ward targets next. Is there a random Aussie in the WBO top 10 at 154lbs? If so he should be expecting a call anytime now.Comment

B-b-but super six doe,2011 doe,p4p #2 doe...its sad how his fans try to defend him even when he tries pulling **** like this. Imagine if golovkin moved up to 168,and tried bringing a 23 year old 160 lb figter up to fight him. He'd be labelled bum of the century, and would have fields of cherries named in his honor.Comment
