Give up on this thread it is 15 pages into it and the 15th page is no different than the 1st page or any of the countless other Corrales vs Castillo thread pages.

Its a circular arguement. We'll all just have to wait and see what happends in June. Personally I hope Corrales knocks Castillo out, but thats just by oppinon and hopes.

the few extra lbs dont make that much of a diff, look at last weekends fight with alvarez vs arce, alvarez didnt make weight , he was about 3 lbs heavier but arce still fought him and won, so if you are a tru champion as corrales would like to be know for, you should be able to pull out a win

unless you pull a Gatti vs camache 19lb extra over night for gatti

dumbest thread ever.Castillo never needed Corrales to be on the p4p list, he was on it before Corrales came along.why are you ***gits making a big deal about Castillo 2 pounds when others have the same or worst?

If Castillo had got the win when he beat PBF where on that list would he be?
I really feel bad for Corrales now, even though he is trying to buy time by cancelling the first meeting of the third fight. His career will be over soon.He is not as tough as Castillo...not even close... and this third fight Castillo prove that again. He was taking horrible punishment in the first fight and on his way to taking a worst beating in the second fight.Do you guys not remember after the first fight?Corrales couldnt even walk on his own.Pissed blood and admited he felt things humans shouldnt have to feel.
Fact ...Corrales won the first first because Castillo made a mistake.
Fact ....Castillo won the second because he wasnt gonna make the same mistake.who is the better fighter?.....excactly!
Now if Corrales thinks he is gonna stand in there with Castillo again then he is sorely mistaken.Mayweather P4P king knows that, he ran againts Castillo and stood in with Judah a quick and powerfull guy(so you guys say) and with 140 pounders.

P.S the cotto fight will be one to remember.

if a few pounds dont make a difference then whats the point of the weight class. you might as well fight whoever you want to fight regardless of the weight.

Alvarez could have come in 10 lbs. heavier and would still have lost. Not relevant at all.

If Castillo can't make 135, he should stay at 140. I'm concerned that he will fail to make 135 and the fight will be cancelled.

The Arce vs. Alvarez fight was a totally different scenario. Alvarez is like 35 or 36 years old past his prime & had been having trouble making that weight for years. Arce is 27 years old in his prime & is a skillful boxer/puncher. Alvarez in his prime wouldn't have beaten him so you have no point. As I said in an earlier post, try telling a boxer or wrestler to lose 3-4 lbs. in a few hours & ask them if it makes a difference in a match because obviously most haven't had to do that & woudn't know what it does to your body.

IMO it not because Castillo wieght that chico lost but because he was fighting castillos fight.

he should use his height as an advantge

now we are talking about 3-5 lbs, look at heavyweights, giving up a 50 lbs advantage at times

not that makes a diff but if the lighter of the 2 heavys is a skilled and better fighter, he will still win

I only use this recent fight as an example, dont quote me using this fight for all the other fights to have them compared

like I said, 15-20 lbs will make a diff, and 50lbs makes a huge diff, but 3-4 lbs
plus if corales didnt want to accept the fight at JLC weight, then they could have made it for another date, like they did when the 1st attemp was made for the rematch

castillo will move to 140, just wait and see, at his age I dont think he can make many more fights at 135
