Is Sergey Kovalev being overlooked?

Getting P4P considering isn't good enough when you haven't beaten the best guy in your own division & are just in a leaner division?

I think Kovalev is getting the respect he deserves. No one is blowing the guy (well the Kovalev fanboys, but the fanboys are always blowing their respective guy) & no one is ****ting on him (well again the Stevenson fanboys-if he has any, & Ward fanboys might be......f#cking fanboys always trying to screw up the consensus reality in boxing all the time!!!).

That's why I thought he would be more popular. People love villains. He's like a real life Drago. I guess every villain needs a hero to rival him and Kovalev doesn't have that yet because he's been so dominant.

It's the lack of marketable guys in or around his division.

GGG had people talking about him fighting Mayweather, Canelo and Cotto. Kovalev has Stevenson, Ward and Hopkins.

GGG got a lot of exposure being the guy that three huge stars supposedly didnt/dont want to fight, Kov just doesnt have that.

HBO are clearly on the GGG wagon, but they do have Kovalev signed to an exclusive deal so it's not like they're oblivious to his skill/talent/star potential. He's had his last 7 fights on HBO and he's beginning to lack in the opponent department, what else can they do right now?

The next easiest fight for Kovalev to make is Fonfara. After Pascal I expect him to either go after Stevenson, Beterbiev, or Fonfara.
