The a side. b side stuff has been around for ages. B sides just accepted things and fought. My opinion of who is the top p4p fighter surely doesn't hurt the sport you clown.

The fans ultimately hurt the sport more than anything else. I see you and others mention UFC. UFC fans seem to watch whenever the sport is on. I'm not in any UFC forums-but I doubt they brag about not watching fights and fighters.

There have always been bad scores. Boxing has worked its way through it since more often than not, the judges get it right.

Network deals hurt the sport-they used to increase the number of possible opponents. Now it restricts the number of opponents.

Promoters/Managers stealing money huts the sport. Potential great fighters see Tyson getting $100 mil stolen, see Bob stealing from Floyd/Manny and then they go into other sports.

Lack of an organized body hurts the sport as well. Fights need to get made. but young fans over exaggerating how easy they are made or how often great fights happened doesn't help. If you love the sport, you enjoy it, not just it when the best names are performing.
The fans hurt the sport than anyone else? Come on man, how does that make any sense. And I watch MMA, not as much as before but I still do, and the matchmaking is top notch. The fights that would take boxing 3 years to make get made in a week in the UFC.

Fights have always taken time to happen. It used to be you enjoyed the sport while you waited for those big fights. Nowadays, those same fans don't watch at all if they do not get exactly what they want.

Do MMA fans stop watching if they do not get what they want?

I'm not suggesting fans should settle for anything, but fans should support the sport outside of the "1%".

There is no regulating authority in boxing. The UFC brass demand the best fight the best. If you do not, you're not in the UFC anymore. The only ones in boxing doing this are the fans. They have gotten this right where boxing continuously gets it wrong week after week.

I think similarly to football, not that hand egg Shiz boxin has lost it's touch. Money has become everything, it's no longer a sport but a throw money at things contest.

Everything is money, and it's killed the sport I love.

Fck promoters fck managers fck big networks.

Ignore The Big Dung; he's a top advocate for the sort of people that have helped create this huge cluster**** that is modern professional boxing.

Da fans are to blame yo, not the terrible matchups, politics & lack of structure & regulation.

Politics, lack of regulation and structure, and the occasional bad matchup have been around for years and never caused me to get upset with the sport. You yourself got into the sport with these things as well. Didn't turn you away.

What is different is the new boxing fan like you and others. Failure to support the sport as a whole and not just those at the top exacerbates the other problems.

It's not the occasional bad matchup, you dumbass; it's been a constant stream of them - it's the normality today.

We disagree. Just because they are not the specific fights you want doesn't make them bad matchups. There is more to the sport than the top "1%". You can have good fights without big names.

This month has seen some very good fights, Postol/Matthysse, Gonzalez/Villoria, Fonfara/cleverly, huck/glowacki. we've also had some good upsets too.

                    Ruining? Andre Bored, racism

What keeps it going? Exciting fighters like GGG, Kovalev, Maidana, Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury, and the fact Mayweather retired makes it more a joy to watch not sleep during fights

I would like to see an organization have a yearly weekend of boxing that they force all their champions to defend their titles. Like have all 16 divisional champions defend their belt on one of those nights and if they can't do it then they get penalized somehow. An event that fans can pin down on their calendars.
