Tuning in to crap fights and mismatches DOES hurt the sport. Just as buying crap ppv's hurts the sport in the sense that if they can continue to put out crap and people are willing to pay for it, then they will continue to do so.
I dont support mismatches but you apparently do. I support bouts that I know or have a feeling will be entertaining. That's what boxing is to me. Entertainment. I enjoyed last wknds PBC card (Peterson/Diaz). I didnt tune into the Fonfara/Cleverly fight because I had no idea it was on until after it had aired. Unlike you, I have a life and cant be home everytime there's a PBC card on. This is one of the things that is hurting PBC. Their cards are sporadic. Its hard to build a regular following when you're all over the place.
