Be honest, why does Ward want to fight a smaller guy so bad?

I assume that Ward wants to play to his strengths and get a competitive advantage that works best for his style of fighting.

He likes to be taller than his opponent, bigger frame. His style is to grab and hold, use his head illegally, jab and grab, d**** himself over his opponent. It's harder to do this against guys his own size, and it's easier to do this against smaller guys.

This is why Ward is obsessed with calling out GGG, which could be a good money fight against a significantly smaller opponent (5'10", while Ward is 6'1".)

Are you buying this BS too? Floyd doesn't want this fight night weight to be known. He probably walks around 155 in WW fights and close to 160 in his JMW fights.
The fact that he claimed to have lost weight between the weight in of the Canelo fight (150.5) and the fight night (150) was absolutely bull****.

im talking about fight night weights.....Also 30 days before the fight when they do the weigh in he is already on weight..they show the pics on this very site

Why are yall making him out like he is some huge welterweight, dude is 5'8" and slender, he isn't thick frame/boned guy like Cotto who started at 140 and was struggling to make weight looooooong ago between 140-147

Huge welterweight? I never said that. Guys like Maidana come to fight night around 160, so Floyd coming in 155 is not being a big welterweight. But he is at least average, he is not small for sure. Pac is a small welterweight, for example. Floyd has good weight, height and reach for the welterweight division.

The 30-days weight in don't say much, since all the fighters drain a little bit to make sure they make weight that day too. For example, GGG 30 day weight in for the Lemieux fight was 165, but he was 169 on fight night. Canelo is 167 for the Cotto fight in the 30 days weigh in, but he will be around 172 as usual in fight night.
So floyd being 150.5 in the 30 days weight in probably means that he is around 155 on fight night.

How is Pacquaio a small welterweight when he has fought there since 2008 and would weigh over 140 for his junior lightweight fights on fight night???

Ward could have instructed ROC to fire the opening salvo and ROC would have been glad to do it, but Ward never did.
The claim that Ward wanted it so bad is bogus.

How is pacquiao a small welterweight? being short in height, short in arms, and weighting around 148 in fight night. Get it? thanks.

I think you'll find Pacquiao weighs 150/151 on fight night. You probably know this but want him to appear smaller.

Ward and GGG's trainer have traded a few trash talks but really when you think about it

99% of the ggg-ward "needs to happen" talk has happened... right here on this forum via guys who want GGG to lose even if it's vs a much larger opponent

most people in the outside world are talking about fights that can actually happen (kovalev-ward and ggg-canelo)

sometimes a few angry butthurt dudes on the forum make it seem like there's massive demand for a fight when there simply isn't

ward said he would fight w. klitschko too, it's just idle trashtalk
Great point. Just because it's on here doesn't mean it has anything to do with reality. GGG needs to keep doing what he's doing. And Ward needs to actually step into the ring against well, anybody.
