but it's going to backfire, Canelo won't be able to make 155 much longer and this **** will look very ******
ggg looked pretty dam drained at the lemieux weigh in himself

The truth is GGG is not much different from Canelo or Mayweather or Pacquaio. They all want an advantage against a less marketable threat. PERIOD. These guys are all human, no one is a warrior that fights anyone, anywhere, anytime for free.

You all need to stop being biased for once, use the same standards for everyone and stop making excuses.

Also while I agree that Canelo and GGG are very similar in size, weighing the same as someone doesn't automatically make you the same size. Klitschko is bigger than almost all his opponents but some of those shorter guys like Leapai and Peter have either outweighed him or being very close to doing so, yet they didn't look the same size in the ring.
Let me know when GGG holds titles hostage in Wards division and is actually bigger than Ward yet wants to impose a CW on Ward and himself despite them both being SMW's.

It would be like GGG being the WBC SMW champ yet telling Ward "you want the fight? then you have to come down to 161".

If Canelo shows up at 157, would Cotto fight him anyway?

Cutting weight is so much easier on the body when you're in your early 20s than it is when in your early 30s

When it comes to Cotto at least this is his 4th division. Canelo, GGG, Ward don't even want to move up 1.

It's also funny to me how Canelo insists that he's a JMW yet he fights at 155.

Golovkin would come down even at 154 for Cotto/Canelo "if the money is right"...

Canelo and GGG are in the SAME weightclass. Not only are they in the same weight class, Canelo is the bigger man. So why would the bigger man want to starve/dehydrate himself for a CW rather than come in comfortably?

Canelo is 167.8lbs 30 days out for a fight at 155. He's killing himself to make this CW. WHY?
Catchweights are to give whoever can make the catchweight easier the advantage. Dehydration affects people differently, some people can dehydrate more than others without affecting them too much.

If he said 157 same as Geale I think that would be fine but skimming 2lbs off?
GGG is the champion of MW and you'd ask him to skim more weight than Geale, that's not on but luckily you wont beat Canelo.

I'm using the logic some Little G fans have been using in the Little G/Ward threads.
