    You're right, they shouldn't.

it's not healthy but they've been doing it since they were am kids.

hell high school, college wrestlers cut way more.

one of my lil bros was like 140 in hs. he would cut water weight to 106-113.

in boxing the hardest part is to get your IN FIGHTING SHAPE weight to within 10-15 lbs. then you just dehydrate that 10-15 lbs to weighin.

so if you're fighting at say 160. just get down to 170-175 and the rest you just cut.

avg human body is 60% water. the better shape you are the higher your water pct. so a fat guy could be 55% water a skinny guy 65%.

Doesn't every licensed boxer who steps into a ring to exchange punches pay his dues? I'm sorry I cut out the rest of your post because it was great but all the cotto size excuses are just as bad as the shh that irks you about Golovkin.

Well Cotto has been around for like 10 more years and on PPV numerous times and only did like 300,000 vs Sergio who was another big name fighter so I wouldn't exactly brag about Cotto's numbers either...

Yep Canelo is currently a JMW. Hes been making 155, 154.5 against Kirkland.

But jeez, he is a big un..... he will definitely end up at middleweight.

Canelo should demand a voluntary defence to adjust to the weight.

            Like Ward is doing.

He will be stronger at middleweight.

Golovkin can fight the Lee/BJS winner, or the Quillin/Jacobs winner.

            Golovkin/Canelo end of 2016.

I think most of you guys dont even want that fight.

If the Cotto/Canelo winner dumps the title, then they avoided Golovkin.

If Golovkin refuses a catchweight knowing that the winner will be stripped, then Golovkin avoided the winner.

                Lets wait and see.

September 2016 would be a good time for it..meanwhile GGG beats up Lee or Saunders. Canelo fights Lemiuex because they're both with GBP..easy fight to make and get Canelo to 160

He's huge. Surely he's going to start struggling to make 155 at some point.
