Canelo is a big boy. He's been training for a while and it looks like he cut some weight just to get to 167, 30 days before a fight at 155.

I'm sure he feels like he can cut down weight like an expert after making 152 for mayweather but this is eventually going to affect him. I want him to beat cotto but physically cotto has looked very very fresh under his strength & conditioning guy...I'm a little worried that canelo will not be as fresh.

Why should he have to come down because the so called middleweight champ is too scared to fight at the full middleweight limit? If you're fighting to unify the titles it should be at the full limit. If not you need to give up the title. Its crazy how this is allowed but in boxing these days money talks and that's what matters.
There is a fork in the road..... to the left a clear path..... to the right a roadblock.....
..... by taking the left path you will avoid the roadblock.

Golovkin will be held accountable for whatever he chooses to do.

Based on the fact that Golovkin can make 154, a catchweight request should not kill that fight.

Yep, a number of people have made that comment.

I am definitely not arguing with them, Canelo is a beast, but I am absolutely positive that Canelo has a very good team who understand weight perfectly.

They manage Canelos weight with a magnifying glass, and have gone to great lengths to justify why Canelo fought at 150/155..... his weight is something that Canelo's team are very mindful of.

Reynoso specifically stated that they will only make the official limit for a big fight, in an effort to preserve Canelos career.

So yea, Team Canelo are definitely conscious about his weight, and pretty much everything else.

That is why I have insisted that Canelo is obviously a JMW who can make 154.

The guys who are saying that Canelo is a middleweight are wrong.

Hes not too far away though.
