GGG vs Chavez Jr. is irrelevant for the simple fact that most GGG fans always criticized Chavez Jr. for being too big and picking on smaller boxers. Therefore, what does that have to do with Lee fighting Chavez Jr. when it's GGG fans dismissing Chavez Jr. in general?

So we are assuming that GGG won't take Lee's power seriously and use the jab like he did against Lemieux? If THAT's the strategy, that's my point, I don't see GGG winning a jab game against Lee's reach. If we're thinking that GGG is going to cut off the ring on Lee, this is what I want to see! But, I'm willing to bet GGG does not take heavy hitting Southpaws litely. I think Lee has more thumping power than Lemieux by distance alone. Lemieux has to fully exert or extend a risk shot in order to lay some on GGG. Lee doesn't have to do that.

I'm not here to play devil's advocate. If GGG decides to still stay at 160, there's still opposition to go until he decides to move up. Fights take time as always. I think GGG won't move to 168 until the next 2 years, which by that time he'll be around 36.

What about Andrade-Golovkin? that would be a good fight, or ishe another that likes to talk and hide
Andrade backed out of a Korobov fight too for the vacant WBO.

I also never heard K2 run their mouths about Lee ever since it was supposedly cancelled, instead, just publicity stunts in calling out 168 fighters in which those fights wouldn't even happen in the first place.

right up until the fight is signed. Then Lee immediately becomes a tomato can who GGG is fighting because he's scared of Ward

Thats kinda how things work here lol

But as of right now, from the list of Murray, Quillin, Jacobs, Macklin, Geale, Lemiuex, Saunders, Lee - Murray is the best one. For GGG to fight his next big challenge it would have to be at 168 or Canelo after a couple of wins at MW. Abraham would especially be a good challenge if he gets past by Murray. But people keep saying "This guy got good power, he can win". No he can not, Lemiuex has good power but could not even beat Alcine or Rubio, cause he does not have the skill to back up that power. No one at MW stands out skillwise. Just Cotto and he is small.
You apparently think very highly of Canelo. Perhaps I underrate him but I think he's heavily flawed in any fight with Golovkin, particularly with regard to stamina and power (or lack thereof in both cases).

Irrespective of what happens in his fight with Cotto, I think Miguel is a better match-up with Golovkin. He has that in-out footwork, good stamina in the first half of a bout and seemingly genuine MW KO power.

Still, you could be right and I could be completely wrong. On Murray, he did do okay, got into some good positions and connected well numerous times, just didn't have the pop to do real damage.

Actually, the context is gaining the WBO belt... the way it works is you have the beat the guy first in order to get the belt. In boxing there are 4 main belts. This might be why it's relevant to mention Lee as the ''flavor'' of the month, even though Lee was an originally intended bout, but apparently someone died, and the fight was never talked about again..

                    those flavors.

Reaching saying Lee is the new GGG beater. Nobody is beating him from 154-160 and probably nobody but Ward at 168. These guys at 160 have ZERO chance and that includes all the guys with Haymon as well.
