Are you serious or just re tarded. They dropped the lawsuit the same time they announced the fight. And it's right there in the quotes the lawsuit months earlier claimed damages. How can you keep a lawsuit going for damages when you got a bigger fight then the one Stevenson "illegally" backed out of? To put it simple it's like a football play where a player holds your receiver at the line of scrimmage but he fights through catches the ball and gets a Touchdown. The flag is on the field but rather then take the penalty that gives you a fresh first down you decline it and take the touchdown because touchdown is better then 10 yards and a first down. That's what Main Events did. They sued for damages and dropped the lawsuit because they stole a even bigger fight with a HOF in Hopkins. The same guy Stevenson was ducking you for no less lol Like can you even read. I'm done with you. Move on to another point or just shut up you sound foolish.

u carry the attention for as long as u need it...that lawsuit stopped nothing..bernard askin stevenson for too much money stopped the fight.stevenson is lineal and bhop wanted 75/25 split and he basically got that vs kovaleve....superman wasnt doing any less that 50/50

if they wanted stevenson belt and that lawsuit was real and ggod enough to win they would open it back up tot ake his belt dummy...they havent bc the lawsuit was exposed each time they wrote it up...hbo did not get the fight done and haymon has all rights to be a guys manager no matter who he is in talks with...hbo stopped all talks when haymon got involved..

excuse me, but i blasted away anyone who said stevenson or kovaleve would lose to a 50 year old who had been fighting belt holders instead of champions and quiting anytime he was in the ring wiht a legit fighter..

but i dont expect u to believe me, but kovalev is easily in my top 5 p4p as well as stevenson...

i like them both i just speak the facts on this situation and i think main events and hbo have been wrong since day 1..they think haymon stole something they did not own...that isnt possible

This is boxing where fighters lie and put on bs spin and make up excuses when they back out or turn down fights. It's to try and save face with his fanbase. Quillen would of been killed for telling the world yeah I'm vacating my championship belt and turning down the biggest paycheck of my career because my daddy Haymon told me to and he told me to because he hates Jay-Z.

He had no problems fighting Korobov his promoter (Golden Boy at the time) and Haymon all signed off on the fight. Then Roc Nation out the blue wins the bid and that day rumors started swirling that Haymon was upset. It drags and drags with him refusing to sign until finally he doesn't sign and the belt gets vacated. The BS excuses come to try and save face with fans. First he said he was turning it down for a "bigger fight" at middleweight many suspected it was to fight Jacobs. That was his official press statement the day he was stripped. Then in typical Haymon manner when the "bigger fight" didn't come he started making up new excuses for why he turned it down. This is called spin control. Everyone knows Haymon made him turn down a career payday 3X his highest purse. Just like no Haymon fighters have tried to make a fight with Cotto or Ward two big names in boxing. Cotto had months when he was network free agent able to fight on PBC or Showtime and Ward has been a free agent all year. Yet Haymon fighters never been in the running for fights. But yeah no beef with Roc Nation...surrrrrreeeee

korobov is with top rank just like lomo who they did a purse bid with..quillen uncle died and he had a child took time off...ggg did the same when someone close to him died...he came back and fought for the same belt witha lower purse..that was his deciision not haymons

I didn't mean that you personally were saying BHop was going to school Kovalev, but I read tons of posts here from various people before the fight who were saying that.

Then tons more after it, some from the same people, calling BHop an old man who should never even have been in a ring with Krusher.
