Considering Floyd did 350K his first PPV, his numbers are not bad. He had as many PPV buys as Ward had viewers on free TV (BET or whatever the station is called).

canelo can fight nonames and still make more 300k on ppv, thats enough for him to get a 10 mill payday, on the other hand GGG cant make much without either cotto or canelo, ggg needs this fight so bad he will have to bend to every demand..

I agree. They love talking that A side- B side stuff about Ward, well someone's about to.pull it with you whether or be Cotto or Canelo.

You can't compare Floyd's first PPV numbers to GGG. Floyd was the B-side to Gatti & Gatti wasn't HBO's featured fighter like GGG is now. GGG numbers have to be compared to HBO's other featured fighters carrying the card against weaker opposition. De LA Hoya's first PPV was against Rafael Ruelas and did 300k.

Floyd's first A-side PPV was Judah, which did 375K.

we could've gotten Golovkin/Ward AND Kovalev/Ward in the span of two years.

that was ward's plan. but triple g's team refused to even negotiate calling ward a nobody who's not even worth their time.

but this nobody is now on a collision course with kovalev to crown the new p4p king of boxing.

if canelo/cotto winner dismisses triple g, where does he go after that? ok he has the belt, but who really gives a sht about that, he needs a NAME opponent.
