And Cotto or Nelo is the biggest fight of GiGi's entire life. You need them Tom. Lol nobody gonna give a **** if GiGi beats another fringe contender for a vacant belt. Even if it is the beautiful green belt. He needs a name like Cotto or Canelo on his resume.

I would but that a lot faster that I would have Floyd vs. Berto.

I think GGG will have to take a low percentage to get the winner of the Cotto-Canelo bout. Both these guys have sold out venues so that's nothing new.
What a PPV star, he's doing those Haseem Rahman numbers. Look out Floyd there is a new PPV king.

From a boxing fan's standpoint an argument could be made that this moron is right.

Outside of Canelo vs Pacquiao what would you rather see?

We've seen both fighters against (retired) Floyd already. As fans do we really want to see it again?

Wouldn't you rather see something new?

Intriguing new matchups stylistically that would offer more clarity and answers to a lot of questions.

Canelo is selling out baseball stadiums and doing double GGG's PPV numbers vs Angulo & Lara. After his failed PPV debut GGG is in no position to negotiate. He'll have to accept a catchweight against either guy or its back to fighting in Monaco. HBO has to be nervous after his poor PPV debut. He has the lowest PPV of any HBO #1 boxer.

funny thing is that without the PPV this was the same scenario. lol

and I clearly remmeber Loffler saying that they were willing to fight cotto for a low payday. Just to get the belt opportunity, so nothing changed.

hope they make the fight after Cotto-Canelo.

It's the only fight I would pay for that can realistically happen other than a rematch.

I doubt Little G will get another PPV anytime soon unless he fights one of Cotto/Canelo/Ward.

I'm sure that's the case, Canelo signed a deal that they must face GGG after their fight, but I don't think they signing of the terms means that it has to be on Triple G's terms. Canelo will set their terms (A-Side) and GGG will have to abide his terms. If not, then it will be on GGG if the fight doesn't get made and Canelo won't be stripped of his title.
