    Floyd was given that privilege coz he was brave enough to rematch chino like he did Castillo, and also to secure the PAC fight coz otherwise Floyd would have had to defend those belts before he negotiates with pac if they didn't let him defend em against chino. The wbc pres already explained this, keep up with the news before you comment again.
    Look, kid: you're an alt, right? But never mind...

    I used to be a big Floyd fan until the "gloves gate"... I never saw it coming... It was the most pathetic move I've noticed recently in the sport...

        Big difference

        The difference is that GGG doesn't go around saying he's the GOAT after running and dancing his way past undersized, beaten up or just older "former" champions. The bar is higher because Fraud made it higher but as usual Fraud just doesn't want to pay for it. Your point is valid though that Ray Leonard was a true champion taking the challenges he did. Fraud has proven he is not by avoiding them his entire career. If ya wanna boast your the GOAT then step up or shut up because that decision determines your credibility.

          I agree: after the "gloves gate" Floyd became totally irrelevant.

            This is one of those articles where the writer has a deadline to write something interesting so he basically brainstorms "hmm Floyd always causes a stir but he's retired.....GGG is the most recent headline from this weekend...if I put them both together I can catch some interest!". What journalists is he talking about that is demanding Floyd vs GGG. Floyd is retired, GGG is a middleweight, stop the nonsense and comparison

                His second PPV! His first one a few years ago was garbage and didn't move units doesn't mean it wasn't on PPV. Do your homework if you claim to be a fan of Lil g. But didn't know he already had a PPV before!

                  ggg can be the bigger star all he wants. Ward is the better fighter and he'll beat lil g. Thing is g's team knows it too.
                  I think Golovkin will give Andre a good paddling.

                    ... And show me where I said here that Floyd should fight GGG right now (there are his father and his fans who say that Floyd would beat GGG easily... I don't mind and I don't care)...

                    But you know well what I said above...
                    I suspect that since 2010 Martinez (a former 154 fighter) called out Floyd and Floyd ignored him...
                    Later, I remember Lara calling out Floyd at 154...

                    The idea was a simple one: Floyd avoided fighters with longer reach (than his) and with very good boxing skills.

                    Last time Floyd fought someone bigger and with a longer reach was in 2007 -- ODLH...
                    This thread has nothing to do with Erislandy Lara and it has nothing to do with Sergio Martinez.

                    Do you just randomly change the subject in every single thread or what?

                      This guy literally brings up irrelevant points every single post.

                      Question;

                      "What did you think of Charlo vs K-9 Bundrage?"

                      His response;

                      "I think Mayweather should have fought Vivian Harris in 2005"
