As with any other fighter in the world, GGG pales in comparison to Floyd when they are evaluated using the same standards. You don't have to like Floyd, but when you start to denigrate his resume you denigrate everyone else in the sport.

Bs, he does not rehydrate 5 pounds.
You look at him on the scales, look at him on fight night. He wasn't that much smaller than Canelo, and Canelo weighed 165.
Did you even read what I posted. I said clearly Floyd has no business fighting GGG.
I said the weight difference is comparable to that of GGG and Ward.
By comparing using what available pre weight data we have, and also comparing him to the other fighters that weigh in at 185 and are standing next to him.
The average fighter puts on at least 10-15 pounds. Ward weighed in at 172 his last fight. Ten pounds puts him at least at 182. If you look at him, nits likely he was at least 185 if not 190.
Watch enough boxers and you generally can tell how much they rehydrate.
Just look at Canelo and Floyd in that fight. Floyd is coming in at least 155 now.
Problem is, no one knows for sure, because he hides it now.
It's largely believed Canelo may even of come in over 170 for that fight.
I don't believe for one second Floyd was 150 while Canelo was 20 pounds heavier.

But, in that case, Chino came in at 168 that fight. 2 pounds lighter than GGG.
Floyd Shouldn't have issues with 2 pounds right.
See how that works.
Canelo was believed to walked in the ring at higher than his unofficial weight.
My point has never been Floyd's needs to fight GGG.
It's the what people use opposing logic to suggest GGG is same size as Ward.
It's just not the case.
Canelo came in at least 168, probably 170. Does Floyd look 20 pounds lighter than Canelo here? If you think he does, then good for you.
I don't think he does.
However, my original point was the difference between Floyd and GGG wouldn't be That much different Ward and GGG.
This is especially the case because GGG offered to go to 154.
Ward is unwilling to budge at all, and word is he can't make 168 very easily anymore.
Lastly, I said over and over, I don't think it's fair to ask Floyd to fight GGG.
And I think GGG does fight Ward some day.
But to act like he ducked Ward, well then Floyd ducked GGG.
I don't think brother is true.
Reason is simple, fight night weights are always over the official division limit, hence why they are called unofficial.
When showtime tell u the unofficial weight for s guy, it means showtime weighed him. You guys are pathetic with your deluded fantasies.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the scales don't lie, only you haters do.

Let's put it like this:
Floyd won his 154 belt back in May 2012...
... And Floyd refused to contemplate fights with Martinez or, later, Lara...
... Both Martinez (who also fought at 154) and Lara had longer reach and very solid boxing skills...
... Floyd defended his 154 strap against Maidana -- at 147, doe...
So, let's be fair on this one.
Floyd was given that privilege coz he was brave enough to rematch chino like he did Castillo, and also to secure the PAC fight coz otherwise Floyd would have had to defend those belts before he negotiates with pac if they didn't let him defend em against chino. The wbc pres already explained this, keep up with the news before you comment again.

Golovkin is a Middleweight who's in his prime and crushing all the Middleweights with ease.
Why would you want to see such a one sided massacre?
Read again my reply to you -- it's quoted above...
... And show me where I said here that Floyd should fight GGG right now (there are his father and his fans who say that Floyd would beat GGG easily... I don't mind and I don't care)...
But you know well what I said above...
I suspect that since 2010 Martinez (a former 154 fighter) called out Floyd and Floyd ignored him...
Later, I remember Lara calling out Floyd at 154...
The idea was a simple one: Floyd avoided fighters with longer reach (than his) and with very good boxing skills.
Last time Floyd fought someone bigger and with a longer reach was in 2007 -- ODLH...
