He could be matched up against anyone at MW and I think he would be a sizable betting favorite. My ranking by the way doesn't recognize the lineage because their subject to being tarnished and falsely represented like when Sergio fought Murray who I believe deserved the W but didn't get it.

    1st Golovkin
    2nd Cotto
    3rd/4th Lee or Quillen
    5th Jacobs/Lemieux
I agree with this. The division is full of diva-fairies, all of which GGG would blaze through. I don't see how anyone can support these duckers as they are stopping a top top top rate fighter from fulfilled his potential.

Cotto is a middleweight with 2 catchweight fights, one less than Canelo, and weighing much less than Canelo.
Golovkin is definitely a middleweight despite weighing less than Canelo in the ring.

The 155 thing has been a way to get his stock back up after the Floyd loss instead of going right to MW. If he wasn't so famous he would have been forced to just fight at 160.

What's it gotta do with liking GGG??? They haven't fought and might never. I like both fighters about the same BTW. Both very fun to watch.
How do you rank someone at Middleweight for fighting guys who were never ranked at Middleweight and don't fight at Middleweight?

That's all I'm saying. Is Canelo probably better than Curtis Stevens? Yeah. But Canelo hasn't fought anyone with Middleweight fight history at this 155 pound catchweight. I can't rank him as a Middleweight, personally.
