Because he's about to fight for the title and he's clearly better than everyone except Golovkin and maybe Cotto.

People criticizing Canelo at 160, when it's Canelo that has demolished guys at 154. P4P or elite boxers can contain that power moving up. Let's not get carried away that a boxer moving up one weight, and in this case Canelo, that the power isnt there. That's ridiculous.

His last 3 fights were at middleweight (155-160)

That's one more than Cotto the lineal champion. Awkward indeed.

Come on, analyze the situation and don't be a naive idiotic boxing fan.

Canelo fought at 155, ONE pound. This is coming from a huge GGG supporter, Canelo isn't a ****ing Middleweight.

Only people trying to prove worthless arguments call Canelo a Middleweight. Is he TECHNICALLY a Middleweight? Sure, but he still isn't a REAL Middleweight.

If he gets that strap around him though, he's all game for any Middleweight otherwise drop your belt and pride knowing damn well you aren't the real MW champ

Canelo would be there had he fought a solid opponent at 160...
