      1. Golovkin
      2. Alvarez
      3. Cotto
      4. Lee
      5. Lemieux

And there's several other good middleweights: Monroe Jr, Quillan, Jacobs, N'Jikam, Eubank Jr, Korobov, Saunders and Chudinov.

And plenty of talented young up-and-comers: Magomedov, Deveranchenko, Khytrov, Wade, Murata, Johnson, Douglas, Singh, Blanco and Meryasev.

Middleweight is a deep division right now because of all the young up-and-comers.

Of the young boxers at middleweight, the one who impresses me the most is age 22 Arif Magomedov, who is promoted by Main Events.

Then there's several boxers at 154 who may move up, such as the Charlo brothers.

I'd say it's a pretty competitive division just that GGG seems to be so far ahead of everyone in terms of potential. Similar to Mayweather at WW where he was way ahead of everyone for a long time. If not for Manny being ahead of everyone bar Marquez WW would've looked very similar. He could be matched up against anyone at MW and I think he would be a sizable betting favorite. My ranking by the way doesn't recognize the lineage because their subject to being tarnished and falsely represented like when Sergio fought Murray who I believe deserved the W but didn't get it.

              1st Golovkin
              2nd Cotto
              3rd/4th Lee or Quillen
              5th Jacobs/Lemieux

thats how bad MW is right now....
by the way some posters using technicism to consider canelo a MW, but they wont use the same logic to his opponents, only canelo is a MW but his opponents who also weighted more than 154 are not...

Cruiser weight division is a shark tank bro. No one is safe there.

Middleweight sucks but whatever. GGG is a legend already and I'm enjoying him tear through his division.

                  1. GGG
                  2. Cotto
                  3. Quillin
                  4. Khytrov
                  5. Canelo (155 is middleweight)

To OP, If GGG got someof these names would you be impressed?

If we were gonna include Canelo since he's fighting north of the JMW limit these days, then he'd be on the list too.

Saunders, Jacobs, Lee, Quillin, Lemieux, N'Dam, Maybe Eubank and Soro could make some competitive fights between each other.
