This thing about they don't like him because of his fans is absolute crap. People who say so are probably robots that don't have minds of their own. They rely too much on what others think and feel. It's like saying you don't agree with me, therefore I don't like you. It's so stooopid. ;-_)

In reality boxing is subjective. Stable people don't form opinions based on some wannabe's opinions which is superficial and always biased, anyways. They see things as they are.

The best & most obvious examples are with Floyd & Manny, but I think you see it with most branded type level fighters. Like you can tell Roman Gonzalez hasn't made it to that level yet just cuz there isn't 5+ guys on this forum ****ting on him at every mention of his name.
      I completely agree.

Nothing to dislike unless you're jealous.

Best to be a fan of success and let his hard work motivate you in your own life.

To answer the thread title question, like every other fighter 'his fans'

And as for the "he is humble" theory, he through that out the window like two fights back. Now him and his team are making statements like "he is not in my class, I gave him a boxing lesson, Ward is irrelevant the p4p slot is vacant refusing to give any other fighters recognition or credit. Cotto /Canelo have only 15 days to decide whether to take the GGG fight or not. That doesn't sound humble to me.

Now in terms of him as a fighter he is very likable he is talented and has power.

there's really nothing to dislike about golovkin. he's a terrific fighter. he even looks like he's still improving. his jab and punching power was f#cking scary on saturday. dat jab doe!!!!!

i'm not a huge fan of his management / promotion, because it's clear that they're trying to block the andre ward fight, which is more significant for boxing than any other possible for for golovkin. it may be the most significant fight in boxing.

i've got no issues with them trying to get a fight with the cotto - canelo winner. their rhetoric makes it clear that they're going to stay at middleweight even after they get a fight with the winner of cotto - canelo.

it's a toss up between folovkin - ward at 168 and ward - kovalev at 175. those are the best fights in boxing right meow.

Nothing really. Good boxer with a great jab and devastating punching power with both hands.
not his fault that most boxers in his weight don't want to face him.

I don't have any reason to hate him. He doesn't run, clinch... he can act like a moron in and out of the ring like guys like Broner, etc., and it won't affect my views about him. I'm not even a huge fan and rooted for Lemieux. I follow mostly 135-154 division.

as other people said. I don't think people dislike him as much as they do his trainer who does a whole lot of talking. and people see GGG as overrated. Which he is to an extent. He's not a "bum" like people say but he still doesn't have a really great win. Good wins, yes. But to put him #1 pound for pound as some people have is ridiculous.
