The "I don't hate him, I hate his fans" line is so bogus. It's a lie people say to justify hating on fantastically likeable fighters like GGG and Pac. Just admit it that you're fuelled by nationalist/racial bias.

Fans being annoying are just the icing on the cake, they are never the principle reason a fighter is disliked. I don't hate on Mayweather, Broner, Khan because of their fans. I dislike the fighters first - that's what makes their fans insufferable, because you're already hating on the guy they nut-hug.

The 'His fans are hypocrites' line that is used for a reason to hate him, could be used for every boxer who's talked about on this forum.

For every GGG fan 'making an excuse' for his fighter, there is a Ward fan doing the same in another thread. Same goes for Pacquiao, Mayweather and the rest.

Look in the 'GGG vs Lemeiux', 'Kovalev Vs Pascal' and 'Ward Vs Murdock' threads and you will see plenty of hypocrisy from posters raging on one fighter while defending another who in a similar situation.
