I honestly don't see how anyone that calls themself a fight fan can not wanna see Ward-GGG. Its this generation's Jones-Toney. The winner would likely be viewed an the new P4P King. And for GGG, it completely silences his critics. Yet, about 95% of his fanbase don't want the fight. And make excuse, after excuse, after pathetic excuse as to why it shouldn't. Its pathetic.

There real isnt anybody to even test GGG at middleweight. I like GGG but its going to be hard to keep the hype train going fighting "Bums of the Month". No disrespect to any of those guys, but nobody is on that level.

I will settle for Kovalev Ward tho.

Personally, I just want GGG to validate the hype. The eye test tells me that while good, he's very beatable. And based on the holes I've seen in his game, Ward is an absolute stylistic nightmare for this boy. And it seems like Team GGG knows that, and had basically gone on a PR campaign to simply devalue Ward, who's resume completely ****s on Gennady's. And instead of being held accountable, GGG's fans seems to be all in on the, "avoid the biggest threat to the hype train" campaign. Its pathetic.
