Would be nice to see the Estrada rematch. Gonzalez was underrated a year or two ago and guess what? Estrada is underrated now. I'm almost mad someone has to lose that rematch because they are two of the very best.

Now that GGG has gotten this tune-up out the way, I'm hoping we see some better fights next year. Maybe Andy Lee and then someone elite. And if he can't entice Cotto or Canelo, he needs to move up. He'll never step in the ring with Ward if his handlers can help it, but who wouldn't rather see him against DeGale, Dirrell, Groves or any other top super middle as opposed the bad talent at 160?
Viloria was valiant but Lemieux wasn't?
    Viloria wasn't a tune-up but Lemieux was?
Its time for Roman to step up in weight and fight some of the guys above him, not much of a climb in weight for him to make it, he's prove everything he could possibly do at this weight.

Lemieux is a better fighter than Viloria and If anything he put on a better display than Viloria.

The ref did the right thing. Lemieux has survived to fight another day which is more important that letting David continue to look for a miracle while GGG would have continued pounding him as he saw fit.

Ward would take the fight at 168, GGG wants every advantage against the recognised p4p no.2 for a reason. Are you trying to kid yourself or myself ?

P4P 2 because he beat Paul Smith and is chasing Zac Dunn, okay then
Why would the P4P 2 duck a rematch with Carl Froch in England?

So you understand why GGG wants it at 164, an admission he is attempting to weight drain an opponent ? Ward is castigated for this same tactic, as is Pac, as was Floyd, yet GGG is this man of humility ? What a crock of bs man.

Their ain't a challenge at 160 and him sticking around their is a waste of his fans time, but he's pursuing the money fights so I can accept that for what it is, his fans should likewise instead of claiming otherwise.

This whole charade has become boring fast. If GGG don't fight Ward or a super middle next I've no interest in seeing his fights until if ever he moves up.

The ref made a mistake on the knockdown(by a great body shot) cause when Lemieux took a knee & was obviously already down GGG hit him again flush on his face & the ref even warned GGG for hitting Lemieux while he was down, but then instead if giving Lemieux time to recover for the illegal shot, the ref started giving Lemieux a count, & Lemieux has balls, cuase he didn't complain & after the devastating body & a cheap shot to the face got up & continued to fight..& to top it off at the end of that same round GGG hit Lemieux after the bell & the ref did nothing, not even a warning...(note i'm not saying GGG is a dirty fighter cause none of these shots seemed on purpose as it was more in the spur of the moment, but even if unintentional, an illegal shot is an illegal shot)

Lol, Froch dumped his IBF bet then swiftly retired when the WBA ordered him to rematch Ward. Froch ducked DeGale then ducked Ward, he is openly on record saying he would not win that Ward rematch. Those fights would have blemished his career as woud a fight versus GGG and a third fight versus Kessler.

Froch was right to retire, his record is somewhat comparable to Calzaghe's close, but no chance as good let alone better.

Yep true, I think it was generous of GGG's team throwing him that offer but it showed a lack of class and commitment to the sport that Ward has that he didn't accept it then he acted even more classless with making comments about things when he rejected the fight because he didn't get everything his own way.

Talk about a spoiled brat of the boxing world, Ward has himself to blame he could have built himself a huge fan base but instead he decided to fight like a diva and cheat constantly and to take poor Dan Goossen through constant time at court when Ward didn't win **** from it, Ward has shown his true colours eventually a total scumbag of a man.

It was a good stoppage. It's not like Golovkin is a fighter who refuses to do lasting damage when his opponent is hurt. He commits to the body which pushes his opponent further and further down the hill. Only thing awaiting Lemieux was having the length of his career shaved in the place of his ****** haircut.

Froch didn't fight Ward because Ward wanted the fight in America, Froch fought the diva in USA the first time (Ward doesn't travel, hides in USA) and Ward wasn't willing to travel bare in mind Froch was willing to fight him...
That would have been a PPV fight over in Britain and Ward wanted nothing to do with it, it shows the real act of a spoiled fighter.

So many professional fighters have bad things to say about Ward including promoters, I don't think they can all be wrong on this little man with his over inflated ego bu bu bu I beat you 5/6 years ago you has to travel to me because I have no fans that would travel to Britain to see me hug you for 12 rounds bu hugging = skill.
