You guys? Let's get one thing straight bucko you got me all sorts of fkd up, the fact remains I voice my opinion on the guy because of the flat out disrespect he gets. He's a champion and entitled to the respect of someone to earn that title. Now onto cringeworthy behavior, that works both ways. It's absolutely hilarious to see all these people talking about Ward, Ward, Ward...Ward is one man. Ward sat at 160 his entire career just like this guy has so far, as I have said plenty of times here there is a ton of hypocrisy towards golovkin simply because of his complexion and nationality whether folks don't want to admit or a just plum ****** to not realize it. With that said outside of the super 6 Ward himself has not truly been tested either. I truly hope Ward thrives at 175 and then when he's one fight away from a unification bout have people turn around and say "well go fight this cruiser weight". It is flat out abysmal the double standards this site has posed onto this one fighter for practically doing the same exact thing Ward has done since going pro.

No, wasn't a bad stoppage IMO, he was looking at the referee few seconds before the ref stopped the fight. If you look at the referee it means you do not want to fight anymore.
If I was the referee I would have stopped it as well.Comment

this referee made a terrible deicision when ggg hit him while he was down
he acknowledges ggg hit him while he was down then still proceeds to give the 10 count
so if lemiux doesnt get up we now have huge controversy
what he should have done is use common sense and his own discretion to give lemiux extra time to recover
if you wanna go by the rule book, ggg should have been disqualified because ggg began throwing the punch AFTER lemiux took a knee
but that would have gone against the spirit of a ppv main event fight and one of boxings biggest stars so i dont think a dq would have been the right decision in this instance . ggg only realised right after the punch that he landed a punch whilst his opponent was on the canvas
but for the referee not to give lemiux extra time is devoid of any common sense
i dont care how cool this dudes eyes look.
horrific biased refereeing.Comment

I like Lemieux and think he still had a strong puncher's chance but if you saw the replay, Lemieux got hit with a body shot that you can see left him wide open. If ref didn't stop it then, GGG gives him 4-5 flush shots and it would be fair to stop the fight then. Why bother waiting for 4-5 flush shots like that to stop it?Comment
