Yeah, keep ducking the question, bítch. That tells me all I need to know.

Bottom line: Cotto got beat by B-class fighters.

Cotto isn't even the best fighter at 154. Lara would do the same thing Trout did to him.
The only guy that can give Gennady problems is Ward. The best guy in the next weight class. If Cotto hadn't taken the belt, no one would even entertain the idea of a Golovkin-Cotto fight. What would be the point? Cotto wouldn't have a chance in hell.

      P4P, Golovkin > Cotto.

Get over it, and get on with your life.

Now, for business reasons, yes. Those who have been following Cotto's career from the beginning know that this hasn't always been the case.

Not a 160 lber? Wtf is that supposed to mean, bori? He makes 160 with ease, and has been outweighed by his opponents on fight night in what, 4 or 5 of his last 6 fights?

Look nuthugger, just because you're scared for your boy's safety doesn't mean the real MW champ needs to go anywhere. The fact that you're demanding a Ward fight shows that you know Gennady is a better fighter than Cotto. If Cotto was better p4p, wouldn't he be able to beat Gennady at 160? That's exactly what you're asking Golovkin to do, except that he's never fought above 160 and doesn't have a belt at 168.

Cotto fans are a joke. The sooner he retires, the better.

You can't put the cables on Canelo and have him commit career suicide, he is not going to fight GGG if he beats Cotto.

To that person questioning Cotto's resume... You know who you are

Here's a list of Cotto's opponents over 4 different divisions. It is very important to note that this list consists of top 10 "Ring" rated fighters. Not to be confused with sanctioning ratings. These opponents were at the time, considered the top fighters in they're respective divisions. It's also important to remember that the competition at Jr. Welterweight, and Welterweight at that time, was far superior to today's Middleweight division.

                Jr Welterweight

                2003
Carlos Maussa, would later be ranked #6

                2004
                Lovemore NDou, ranked #8

                2005
Demarcus Corley, ranked #9. Ranked as high as #3. Ranked among the top 10 Jr Welterweights for 6 years straight.

                Ricardo Torres, ranked #10

                2006
Paulie Malignaggi, ranked #2 in 2007

                Welterweight

                2007
                Oktay Urkal, rank #10

                Zab Judah, rank #5

                Shane Mosey, rank #3

                2008
                Antonio Margaritto, rank #1

                2009
                Joshua Clottey, rank #5

                Manny Pacquiao, rank #1

                Jr Middleweight

                2010
                Yuri Forman, ranked #6

                2012
                Floyd Mayweather, ranked #1

                Austin Trout, Ranked #3

                Middleweight

                2014
                Sergio Martinez, ranked Lineal Champ

                2015
                Daniel Geale, ranked #5

Saul Alvarez, currently ranked #1 at Jr Middleweight.

Cotto was not favored for most of these fights.

That's obviously selective. Why in gods green Earth would you, after winning the lineal and WBC belt off Sergio, go and fight Daniel Geale instead of the guy who just crushed him? What kind of pathetic Middleweight Champion does that? Worst of all weight draining him at the same time! Now he's saying any Middleweight who wants to fight him has to be drained and weakened or the fight won't be made, it's laughable.
Viciously knocked out? Geale quit on his feet.......
Geale was a good fight for Cotto to get his feet wet in the division against bigger guys while GGG has made a career at Middle and Geale was his best opponent. common son.
